Falcon Ridge water notice lifted
Jul 17, 2012 / 4:14 pm
In consultation with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has lifted a Boil Water Notice for residents served by the Falcon Ridge Water System in the Central Okanagan East Electoral Area off Highway 33.
“The turbidity in the source water for the Falcon Ridge system has decreased and is once again within the acceptable Interior Health and Canadian Drinking Water Quality guidelines," Communications Officer Bruce Smith.
The Boil Water Notice was issued on June 25th as a result of a poor turbidity water rating caused by localized flooding, higher water levels and flows in nearby Mission Creek.
For information visit the Regional District website water system webpage (regionaldistrict.com/water) or contact RDCO Environmental Services at engineer@cord.bc.ca or 250-469-6241.
