HWY 5 closed.

The Coquihalla has been reopened.
Update -- 4 p.m.
According to DriveBC, Highway 5 remains closed on the Northbound section between exits 221 and 228.
The investigation is still in progress and the estimated time of reopening is 5 p.m.

A collision on Highway 5 in the northbound lane between Hope and Merritt has forced a temporary closure.
The accident is located just south of the Coquihalla Summit on what appear to be dry roads with unlimited visibility.
No further information is available at this time but until further notice, it will remain closed to all north bound traffic.
