Lake Country fire

8:30 p.m. update:

Crews are mopping up the fire at Wood Lake Terrace RV & Campground.

Deputy Fire Chief Brent Penner says, "Basically we've lost an RV and an abandoned building before our arrival. I'm not sure what we have for exposure damage right now, from the radiant heat, but we haven't lost any other rigs."

The site does not have fire hydrants so water had to be brought in.

"The Ellison fire department brought their tender truck up and they've been good enough to help us out with the water supply. So right now it's seemed to have collapsed down on itself and so far we are winning against Mother Nature," says Penner.

Just before the building went up in flames there was a large bonfire near the site.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
