School bus safety week
On Monday, February 3, 2014 the Central Okanagan School District kicks off School Bus Safety Week. This year’s theme is:
“Be Smart, Be Seen, I wait in a safe Place!”
School Bus Safety is always our "Number One" priority and at the start of every school year the District focuses on
teaching bus safety to all students.
The Central Okanagan School District has a School Bus Safety Program taught to all students in grades 1 and 3 each September.
"The ABC's of School Bus Safety" is a set of lessons and activities with the objective of cultivating conscientious, safety-minded school bus passengers.
At the mid-point of the school year we like to reinforce our safety message by recognizing School Bus Safety Week.
