Stellar snow report for Big White

Big White Ski Resort has received over 30 cms of fresh snow overnight.

The snowfall is due in part to the strong low pressure system that passed through the province on Saturday.

Big White currently has one of the highest snow bases in North America, with an alpine snow base of 207 cms. As of 9 a.m. on Sunday, Big White has recorded 30 cms of snow in the last 12 hours.

“In the 10 seasons I’ve spent at Big White this has got to be top three," said Josh Foster, Director of Snow Sports. "To have a base of over 207 cm is absolutely incredible, the skiing and riding all over the mountain is fantastic.”

The skiing conditions continue to remain favorable this season at Big White, including this recent dose of Okanagan champagne powder.
