Peachland head-on crash
A head-on collision near Antlers Beach in Peachland had Hwy. 97 backed up for several kilometres Friday night.
The Kelowna Chief's were first on the scene, Jason Tansem the team's Assistant Coach says it appears both drivers were not seriously injured.
The force of the impact destroyed both vehicles. Airbags were deployed as the truck and the car collided leaving both front-ends exposed.
There was a large debris field as parts of both vehicles were strewn about the highway.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
The RCMP are investigating.
