I swore I wasn’t going to write about the homewrecking affair that Kristen Stewart found herself in with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but it’s been a pretty slow news week celebrity wise.

It was either K-Stew, or LiLo - who somehow found herself in yet ANOTHER car accident yesterday. So due to my love for horses, I just can’t bring myself to flog a dead one.

The Stewart/Sanders affair, which has received WAY too much media coverage this week, shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone. Kristen is only 22, and although she’s been with Robert Pattinson for over three years, she’s not married to him. Plus, she’s one of Hollywood’s top actresses – and don’t most Hollywood romances come with a short shelf life anyway?

Perhaps I’m being skeptical, but this stuff happens there all the time. I’m in no way condoning what they did (not that anyone knows what really happened), but for her to be the one to make the first public apology was rather odd. Sanders is married; dude should have known better. Sure, Stewart’s the homewrecker in this case, but the director should have kept his wide angle on his camera. He’s the one that’s facing an uphill climb here.

So what are the new details about this dangerous liaison? According to People.com, there are several new developments. First, there are more sources coming forward saying that the romantic connection between these two was nothing more than a harmless kiss and some careless flirtations.

But more troubling for Stewart is news that Robert Pattinson has packed his bags and has left the home he shared with her. He hasn’t moved that quickly since using his ninja-quick vampire skills in Twilight.

"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," a source told People. Apparently Pattinson is in seclusion and not in contact with Stewart, 22. The British star "is heartbroken and angry," says the source.

And here’s the most bizarre news yet: according to Radaronline, Kristen Stewart wants to go out of her way to apologize to Sanders’ wife, Liberty Ross. I guess the Hallmark store was out of “I’m so sorry I slipped and fell into bed with your husband, I hate when that happens” cards.

"Kristen didn’t feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke. Instead, she’s going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions. She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology – but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first. Kristen feels she made a terribly naïve mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did."

Will Twi-hards forgive Bella for cheating on Edward? Will ANYONE forgive anyone here? Should we care? I’ve got to admit I’m having a difficult time conjuring up anything more to say on this matter. It’s definitely the hottest celebrity news story this week, so obviously people care.
