Shoppers Drug Mart says it will stop playing Christmas music in its stores at midnight on Friday - at least for now.
Shoppers announced in a message on its Facebook page that it was suspending Christmas music until further notice following complaints from customers.
Spokeswoman Tammy Smitham says some customers had complained that it was too soon to be playing Christmas music in the stores.
She says Shoppers began playing Christmas music on Thursday, but some unhappy customers contacted them through Facebook and customer service.
Smitham says the Christmas music will be back, likely later in the month.
