Emergency crews are on site at Racette Junior High School in St. Paul, east of Edmonton.
Glen Brodziak, superintendent of St. Paul Education, says the crash happened about 9:30 a.m.
He couldn't comment on whether students are injured.
He says the school has been evacuated and students have been sent to other schools.
