A University of Alberta student says he saw police pulling out bodies at a campus building where an armoured car was held up early this morning.
Ian Breitzke says he was watching TV in his residence room at Hub Mall says he heard a man in a room behind an ATM crying out in pain.
He says when police came about 10 minutes later, they ended up busting down the door and pulling out two people who looked dead.
The 21-year-old accounting student says police then pulled out a man who was alive.
Edmonton police say three people are dead and one is in critical condition in hospital, and all are believed to be employees of G4S Security.
Police are on the hunt for a suspect or suspects.
