Crown has more evidence

Accused serial killer Bruce McArthur had his case put over until March 14 during a brief court appearance this morning.

The 66-year-old landscaper faces six counts of first-degree murder in connection with the disappearances of several men, most of whom had ties to Toronto's gay village.

McArthur's court date dealt primarily with technicalities related to his latest murder charge, laid last week.

Crown Attorney Michael Cantlon told the court he would have more evidence to turn over to McArthur's defence by the next court date.

Police have found the dismembered remains of six individuals in large planters at the home where McArthur did gardening work and rented storage space.

McArthur remains in custody at a Toronto jail.
