We may not be number one, but Canada comes a close second in the rankings of top countries in which to live.
The list was released this week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Germany is listed at number one.
Canada comes out on top of the rankings for quality of life, based on affordability, employment, political stability, healthcare, education and other factors.
Our country follows Sweden in terms of citizenship which is measured on gender equality, human rights, trustworthiness and religious freedom.
“So proud,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted upon hearing the news.
