Triple homicide in Quebec
Two Quebec adolescents have been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in the deaths of three people found in a home.
The 17-year-olds were arraigned in Trois-Rivieres today.
The victims are sisters aged 22 and 17 as well as a 17-year-old boy.
Their bodies were found in a house in Trois-Rivieres on Tuesday morning.
Local police say they intercepted two youths moments after they had allegedly emerged from a home.
Authorities say jealousy is being considered as a likely factor in the deaths.
"There seemed to be a certain relationship between one of the suspects and one of the victims," said Trois-Rivieres police spokesman Michel Letarte.
