Woman charged with murder of child
A 35-year-old Saskatoon woman has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a five-year-old boy.
Police say they were called to a home early Saturday morning by someone saying a child had been injured, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was charged after first being considered a person of interest.
Three other people were in the home when the 911 call was made.
Police haven’t released any details about the boy or the suspect nor have they indicated how the boy died.
