Volunteers are needed to help fill fun-filled volunteer positions for the regional elementary schools science fair coming to the TRU Gym on April 9, 2015.
The roles are Discover Tour Guides and Judges. As incentive, volunteers will receive a t-shirt and in the case of students, a reference letter.
Discovery Tour Guides
Pick between the morning shift of 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. or the afternoon of 12:50 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. Guides will take small groups of intermediate school students (grades 4-7) to four separate 25-minute activities around campus.
Judges
Judging and marking projects are the major responsibilities, and the time commitment is 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. No previous experience is necessary and training will be provided. Snacks and lunch will be provided on April 9.
