Kamloops Marathon By The Numbers

Kamloops Marathon roundup

The 2014 Kamloops Marathon is in the books and the numbers indicate another successful event with participation up nearly 100 from last year.

In its third year, the event is a fundraiser for TRU’s cross country running program and in addition to assisting with travel costs to and from races, money will help create bursaries for athletes to offset the cost of tuition and books.

Organizers are still determining how much was raised for the program and in the meantime, here is a by-the-numbers snapshot of the July 27 Kamloops Marathon
