First Nickel Inc. (TSX:FNI). Miner. Down half-a-cent, or 50 per cent, to half-a-cent, on 13.5 million shares. The Toronto-based company says it will idle the Lockerby nickel and copper mine near Sudbury, Ont., likely in the third quarter, after current supplies of ore are used up. Plans for further development at the site have been cancelled because of low nickel prices and low production levels.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Down 25 cents, or 1.06 per cent, to $23.43 on 6.1 million shares.
Iamgold Corp. (TSX:IMG). Miner. Up 12 cents, or 4.69 per cent, to $2.68 on 3.7 million shares.
Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Down 84 cents, or 1.55 per cent, to $53.51 on 3.4 million shares.
Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Bank. Down 95 cents, or 1.19 per cent, to $78.63 on 3.2 million shares.
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Oil and gas. Down $2.09, or 3.58 per cent, to $56.28 on 2.9 million shares.

Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX:CCA). Telecom. Up 65 cents, or 0.98 per cent, to $66.69 on 48,330 shares. The Montreal-based company plans to expand its presence in the United States with a US$200-million deal to buy the MetroCast TV, Internet and phone network in eastern Connecticut. The purchase will be made through Cogeco's Atlantic Broadband subsidiary, which is the 13th-largest cable operator in the U.S.
