TORONTO - Some of the most active companies traded Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,640.04, down 23.88 points):

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Up seven cents, or 1.72 per cent, to $4.15 on 3 million shares. The company says it has inked a deal to sell five Q400 NextGen aircraft for US$160 million. The buyer, airline leasing company GE Capital Aviation Services, will also have the option to purchase an additional 10 aircraft. If that option is exercised, the value of the deal will be worth a total of US$448 million.

Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Unchanged at $9.10 on 2.8 million shares.

Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Down eight cents, or 0.76 per cent, to $10.42 on 2.3 million shares.

Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down four cents, or 1.62 per cent, to $2.43 on 2.1 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up five cents, or 2.70 per cent, to $1.90 on 2.1 million shares.

Mega Uranium Ltd. (TSX:MGA). Miner. Up one cent, or 8.70 per cent, to 12.5 cents on 1.9 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Agrium Inc. (TSX:AGU). Fertilizer. Down 38 cents, or 0.34 per cent, to $110 on 190,052 shares. The Calgary-based fertilizer producer has restarted potash production at its Vanscoy mine southwest of Saskatoon. Production was suspended in July after a mechanical failure on the operation's main hoist system.
