Canadian Press NewsAlert: Economy advances by 1.2 per cent in first quarter
OTTAWA - Canada's economy grew by 1.2 per cent annualized in the first quarter of this year, after posting a 2.7 per cent expansion in the last three months of 2013. For the last month of the quarter, March, the economy edged ahead by 0.1 per cent over February.
