Canadian Press NewsAlert: feds fail to keep pace with crowded prisons: auditor

Canada's auditor general says expansions of Canada's federal prisons are failing to keep pace with rising numbers of prisoners. Michael Ferguson's fall report to Parliament also finds that the promised savings for the closing of older prisons such as Kingston Pen have not been realized.
