Canadian Press NewsAlert: Economy sheds 7,000 jobs, unemployment rate stable
OTTAWA - Canada's unemployment rate was unchanged at 7.0 per cent in Febuary, Statistics Canada reported Friday. The agency said the economy lost 7,000 net jobs during the month. Analysts had estimated about 15,000 jobs would be added.
