Vipers clip Eagles 4-1

The Vernon Vipers clipped the Surrey Eagles 4-1 Tuesday in the Lower Mainland city.

The Vipers offence was hitting on all cylinders with four players potting goals for the win.

Teddy Wooding ripped home his 13th of the year to open scoring in the BC Hockey League contest.

The Vipers extended their lead in the second when Elan Barlevwise found the back of the net. Minutes later, the Vipers took a 3-0 lead on a power play marker by Josh Latta.

The Eagles broke Aiden Porter's shutout bid in the third, but Tyler Ho restored the three-goal lead for a solid win.

The Vipers are currently tied for last place in the BCHL Interior Division with the Trail Smoke Eaters at 40 points each.

The Penticton Vees lead the division with 53 points.
