Warriors Reim BCHL POW

West Kelowna Warriors forward Willie Reim has been named the BC Hockey League's player of the week.

The 19-year-old native of North Oak, Minn. picked up eight points in leading the Warriors to three wins in four outings during the week.

Reim had four goals and four assists during the week, including the game-winner in a 4-3 victory over Langley. He also set up the game winning goal in Sunday's 6-1 triumph in Victoria.

He pocketed two goals and an assist in a 7-5 win in Nanaimo and had the lone goal in a 4-1 setback in Cowichan Valley.

The outburst gives Reim 17 goals and 40 points on the season, good for a share of seventh in league scoring.

Teammate Bennett Norlin, who had three goals and four assists, was also in consideration for the weekly award.

Reim and his teammates are off until Friday, when they entertain the Merritt Centennials.
