The Penticton Vees go into game four of the interior division semi-final up 2 - 1 after dropping game three to the Merritt Centennials on Monday night.
Merritt kept their perfect playoff home record intact, winning 5-1 over Penticton, led by goals from Tyler Ward, Mike Regush Cade Gleekel, Nicholas Wicks and Stephan Seeger.
Chris Klack scored the lone Vees’ goal, spoiling a shutout for Merritt goaltender Jacob Berger with less than five minutes left.
Game four of the best of seven series runs Tuesday night in Merritt.
Merritt’s win guarantees a Game Five in Penticton on Thursday, March 23rd, at the SOEC; puck drop is 7 pm.
