Foreman BCHL's PoW

It's been quite a start to the BC Hockey League season for Quin Foreman.

The West Kelowna Warriors forward leads the BCHL with seven goals over the club's first five games. He's tied for third in league scoring with 10 points.

Monday, Foreman was named the league's Player of the Week, after he scored five times in two games at the Bauer Showcase in Chilliwack.

He had the hat trick in a 5-2 win over the host Chiefs Wednesday night then added two more goals the following afternoon as the Warriors upended Coquitlam 5-3.

“ It’s great to see Quin have success,” said Warriors head coach and general manager Rylan Ferster on his play through the first five games of the regular season,

“He ended up being a big part of our team last year. And has come back and not only elevated his game but emerged as real leader for us as well.”

Foreman, 20, and the rest of his Warrior teammates open a five-game homestand Tuesday night when they entertain the Merritt Centennials.

The Warriors have won three in a row entering the game while the Centennials dropped both their games in Chilliwack last week.
