Langley RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public to execute an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection to a September 9 home invasion and robbery at a senior citizens apartment building in the 5300 block of 206th Street in Langley.
Police allege that Brody Alexander Muncey and his partner, Shawne Isinger broke into the second floor residence occupied by a 78-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man entering through a partially open sliding door.
"This is the second senior's apartment hit in the last week,” said Inspector Murray Power, Langley RCMP's Operations Support Officer. “Police treat these offences very seriously and have worked diligently to make arrests in both cases."
Langley RCMP and Police Dog Services responded to the residence after the 79-year-old victim called 911. The Lower Mainland Forensic Identification Services were also called in to assist in collecting evidence from the scene.
As a result of the investigation two suspects have been identified. Muncey’s co-accused, 36-year-old Shawne Isinger of Langley, was located by the Langley RCMP Street Enforcement Unit and has been arrested. Isinger remains in custody.
