Four masked individuals with sharp weapons burst into a home in the 1000 block of Kemano St. just after 1 a.m. on Jan. 23. Several adults were in the home at the time of the invasion.

During the altercation inside the residence:

• a mask worn by a female suspect came off
• A male occupant of the residence suffered some injuries from being punched 
• Several household items were stolen 

Kamoops RCMP Sgt. Edward Preto says, "Police believe this was a targeted event and are actively looking for the suspects that fled the scene in black car."
