An 86-year-old man is dead after a head-on collision in B.C.'s Interior.
The RCMP say witnesses have indicated a southbound pickup truck lost control on Highway 97 south of Williams Lake and veered into the path of a northbound pickup truck.
The 28-year-old driver of the southbound truck that lost control was treated in hospital and released, while the 86-year-old victim was in the northbound truck.
Police say road conditions were dry with some icy patches at the time.
The name of the victim has not been released.
