The BC Coroners Service has named three members of an extended family as victims in a crash on the Coquihalla Highway near Kamloops.
Five people were in the SUV on Friday when the driver lost control, sending the vehicle down a 30-metre embankment five kilometres south of the Logan Lake turnoff.
Dead are 49-year-old Sada Mudaliar, his 60-year-old mother-in-law Zaruna Begum, and his 41-year-old brother-in-law Shahir Khan.
They were all from New Westminster.
The driver and a passenger survived and were transported to hospital.
Coroner Barb McClintock says many witnesses saw the crash and that may help determine what caused it.
