Four people have been killed in a head-on crash between a van and a semi-trailer on a central B.C. highway.
The collision occurred at around 8:30 Wednesday night on Highway 5, just north of Barriere, about 65 kilometres north of Kamloops.
RCMP say conditions were icy at the time.
They say it appears one of the vehicles slid into the path of the other.
Few other details are available and names or hometowns of the victims have not been released.
The crash closed Highway 5 for several hours but traffic was moving again by early Thursday morning. (CHNL)
