The names of two men killed in an explosion and fire at a sawmill in Burns Lake have now been confirmed by the BC Coroner's Service.
The service said Friday that dental records were needed to determine the identities of Robert Luggi, 45, and 42-year-old Carl Charlie.
They died a week ago when an explosion and fire devastated the Babine Forest Products mill.
Nineteen other workers were injured.
The Coroner's Service said the scene has now been turned over to WorkSafeBC, which is investigating the disaster.
On Friday, the B.C. government announced that a forest industry veteran had been appointed to lead the response to the deadly blast.
Bob Clark has served as the manager for the Vanderhoof Forest District and was once known as B.C.'s beetle boss for his work on the mountain pine beetle epidemic that swept through the province's forests.
Jobs Minister Pat Bell said Clark will be based in Burns Lake and will work with local officials there to develop short- and long-term plans to help the community.
"Bob Clark is a respected player in the forestry sector and has decades of experience interacting with government, private companies and First Nations," Bell said in a statement.
The Babine Forest Products mill was the main employer in Burns Lake and its owners haven't decided yet if it will be rebuilt.
An investigation into the cause of the disaster is continuing.
