Vrooman New Deputy Minister

Starting today the province has a new deputy minister for the Treasury Board, Ministry of Finance.

She is Tamara Vrooman, appointed deputy minister by Victoria last week.

Vrooman has approximately 10 years provincial government experience.

She has worked the past seven years with the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health, most recently as deputy minister, strategic initiatives and corporate services, with the Ministry of Health Services.

She has a master of arts degree from the University of Victoria.

Paul Taylor continues as deputy minister of finance and will be available to take on special corporate assignments.
