Pedestrian struck, killed

A man in his eighties has died after being struck by a car Monday night on No. 3 Road in Richmond.

Police responded to the scene about 8 p.m., on the 8600 block of No. 3 Road, close to Francis Road. The driver remained at the scene and co-operated with police.

Richmond RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team has taken over the investigation, and police are asking drivers who may have dashcam footage to contact them.
