Police chased down a pickup that was involved in multiple collisions in Prince George over the weekend.
The vehicle was impounded and a 50-year-old man has been issued a 24-hour suspension, violation ticket, and will appear in court at a later date.
Saturday afternoon, RCMP received multiple reports of collisions on Ospika Boulevard and Massey Drive.
The truck came to a stop with both front wheels deflated.
The driver then fled on foot, but members of the public led officers to the man.
Police believed the driver to be impaired by a drug, and a urine sample was obtained for analysis.
Police say a further investigation found the vehicle was uninsured and displaying licence plates that belonged to another vehicle.
The driver was also prohibited from driving at the time of the incident.
