Decker Mountain
A Seattle man has died in the backcountry near Whistler.
CTV News reports the BC Coroners Service has been called to investigate a death on Decker Mountain, a popular spot for backcountry skiing and snowboarding.
The Coroner refused to provide further details such as the cause or identity of the man.
Whistler RCMP says they have been notified of the death and do not believe it was criminal in nature.
