The crash has now been cleared and traffic is flowing on Highway 3 once again.
UPDATE: 1:15 p.m.
DriveBC is reporting Highway 3 should be reopened by 2 p.m.
UPDATE 11:40 a.m.
Highway 3 remains closed in both directions east of Hedley due to a head-on crash.
DriveBC says the highway was not reopened as originally hoped by 11:30 a.m. There is now no time of reopening. Next update is due at 12:30 p.m.

Highway 3 is closed in both directions near Hedley B.C. Friday morning.
DriveBC is reporting the highway has been closed due to a vehicle incident between Scott Ave and Highway 3A for almost 30 kilometres between Hedley and Keremeos. There is a detour available via Hwy 3A Keremeos or Hwy 5A Princeton.
