A Vancouver driver was caught twice by police in just six minutes on his cellphone, Monday.
The Vancouver Police traffic division posted images to Twitter of the tickets, issued at 9:49 and 9:55 a.m., just one block apart on Seymour Street.
Each ticket comes with a hefty $368 fine for distracted driving, CTV News reports.
The tickets show the male driver of a silver Honda Civic was caught on the 800 and 900 blocks of Seymour in downtown Vancouver.
"I think distracted driving is an issue here, and I think it's not just the police that issue tickets, it's all of us that have a role to play to keep our streets safer," Sgt. Jason Robillard told CTV.
