The number of forest fires in British Columbia continues to grow.
There are now about 450 fires burning in the province being fought by close to 1,000 people.
The Kenny Dam fire near Vanderhoof has been extremely active, growing to 6,000 hectares Saturday and firefighting crews are assessing how best to attack the blaze.
The Klustus Lake fire near Quesnel has two fires converging on a village there and 13 residents have voluntarily evacuated. Firefighters have withdrawn from the area.
Crews are getting a handle on the Town Creek and Seton Lake fires near Lillooet.
An 11,000 hectare blaze at Swan Lake near the BC-Yukon border is still burning but no structures are threatened.
BC has a budget of $50 million for this fire season and has already spent $20 million.
