A Victoria mother is pleading for the return of statuettes stolen from a roadside memorial to her son.
AJ Wakeling died in October 2012 after being hit by a vehicle on Sooke Road in suburban Langford. He was just 13 at the time.
Yannick Aubin placed the angel statuettes and crosses as a way to remember her son – and also as a reminder for drivers to slow down.
"My son is in my heart, he’s always by my side and my boys' side. What do you have? A cold black heart," Aubin posted on Facebook.
