One-eyed owl back in wild

A one-eyed Great Horned Owl is back in the wild. 

SPCA’s Wild ARC rehabilitation centre in Metchosin released the owl after a month of rehabilitation.

The owl was found hiding on a farm after suffering some kind head trauma. 

CTV News reports after numerous tests of her hunting abilities, SPCA members determined the owl would be able to survive in the wild with one eye.
