The Trans-Canada highway from Revelstoke to Golden has been opened up in both directions.
It had been shut down for much of the night after a collision forced the closure.
No other travel advisories are in effect in our region as we head into the weekend.

The Trans-Canada highway is closed in both directions heading to Alberta due to a collision near Revelstoke.
The highway is closed in both directions from Revelstoke to Golden as of 6:30 a.m. there was no detour available it is expected to re-open by 7 a.m.
