Emergency crews are still on scene of a motor vehicle incident 15 km south of Merritt. It looks like one lane is now open but things are very slow. Expect delays up to 20 minutes due to congestion.

The Coquihalla Highway 5 northbound is closed this morning, 15 kilometres south of Merritt because of motor vehicle Incident.
Emergency crews are on scene assessing the situation at this hour.
There is no detour and no estimate on when the highway might
re-open.
