Charges have been laid following a pair of bank robberies in Vancouver.
Crown Counsel has approved two counts of robbery against Jordan Anthony Doddridge, 23, following arrests Saturday in the wake of a five-vehicle collision at Clark Drive and East First Avenue.
Charges have also been recommended against a female passenger.
Police received a report of a bank robbery on Commercial Drive just after 1 p.m. Feb. 2. A second robbery happened 30 minutes later on East Broadway and Commercial.
The suspect vehicle was then involved in a collision with four other vehicles, at which police arrested the suspects.
Four occupants of one vehicle were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries.
Doddridge remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Police say additional charges could be recommended.
