BC Ferries and terminals will go smoke-free starting Monday.
The ban includes e-cigarettes and any other smoking materials.
Signs have gone up on all vessels, and smoking aids will be available in ferry shops.
The transition will be an educational process rather than a crackdown, the ferry corporation says.
Cessation programs are available for any employee who chooses to quit, adds spokesperson Deborah Marshall.
