Monique Kozub Anderson's husband was coming back from Spences bridge and was stopped by a rock slide.
A rock slide has forced a closure on the Trans-Canada Highway in both directions, six kilometres east of Spences Bridge.
It's currently unknown when the highway is expected to reopen. Detours are available for both westbound and eastbound traffic.
The Crowsnest Highway is also closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident, 10 kilometres west of Midway.
Motorists can take Kettle River East Road as a detour. The estimated time of reopening there is also unknown.
