A head-on collision near Midway left a 30-year-old man dead Tuesday morning.
At about 7 a.m., police responded to the crash on Highway 3, one kilometre east of Midway.
Investigators determined the 30-year-old driver of a Ford F-150 was driving westbound when he crossed the centre line at a curve in the highway and collided with an oncoming logging truck.
The 30-year-old Greenwood man was killed in the crash, while the 53-year-old Greenwood man driving the logging truck was not seriously injured.
Police believe changing road conditions and the speed traveled relative to these conditions were contributing factors to the crash.
Highway 3 was closed for most of the day as investigators examined the scene and then cleared the crash.
