Death not suspicious: VPD

Vancouver Police say the death of a woman found in medical distress at Spanish Banks on Nov. 3 is not suspicious.

The woman was rushed to hospital Friday morning and died a short time later.

The VPD has turned the investigation over to the BC Coroners Service.

Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a woman found in medical distress this morning in the Spanish Banks area.

The woman was found about at 7:30 a.m., near the concession. She was rushed to hospital and died a short time later, police say.

Detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section are working to determine if the death is suspicious.

Anyone in the Spanish Banks area this morning who noticed anything suspicious is asked to call Vancouver Police at 604-717-2500.
