A large blaze broke out at a home under construction.
Firefighters are working to extinguish a large blaze that started at a home under construction and destroyed at least three homes in Port Coquitlam.
Several homes have been destroyed after the fire started about 6 a.m. Tuesday near Fraser Avenue and Oxford Street.
A woman living on the street, told CTV she only had minutes to escape after the fire woke her.
The home that was under construction was destroyed, and the fire spread to either side.
Crews on scene said the blaze damaged two other properties.
