Winslet raves about BC

Kate Winslet is the latest celebrity to rave about Vancouver.

Winslet gave the city the thumbs up at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend.

"I love Vancouver. I was so happy to be there, and so sad to leave," she said at the premiere of her new film, "The Mountain Between Us."

Winslet told red carpet reporters she hopes to find a way to live in the city, saying she had an "amazing time" while shooting the movie.

"It's incredible, wild, wonderful nature ... we left thinking, 'Why are we honestly leaving?' I mean it is so amazing."

The film was shot in locations around Metro Vancouver as well as in Invermere, Panorama Village, and the Kootenays.

Winslet isn't alone in her love of Van City.

Actors Olivia Munn, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Neil Patrick Harris, talk show host Kelly Ripa and Vancouver-born Ryan Reynolds have all raved on social media this summer about their time in Vancouver.
