Firefighters rescued two girls who were climbing a railway trestle near Parksville, Thursday.
Firefighters from Parksville and Qualicum Beach were called to the trestle over French Creek just after 6 p.m.
The youths called 911 when they got scared.
Firefighters used a ladder and ropes to help them down safely.
